You’ve been paid—now just follow a few simple steps to accept your payment through Plooto. You don’t need to create a Plooto account to deposit your payment.

Check your inbox for an email from Plooto
This email will contain the details of your payment and the sender.
Answer security question
You’ll be prompted to answer a security question set up by the sender for added security. You’ll only see this question if it is the first time you are accepting money from this sender.
Prepare to deposit your payment
Once you’ve correctly answered the security question, you’ll be prompted to choose how you want to deposit the funds.
Two ways to connect your bank
You can either log in to your bank or manually enter your bank details in order to deposit funds.

Connect your deposit account securely and automatically using your online banking credentials through our trusted partner portal.

After you’ve entered your bank details, you will be taken to a screen to verify the information is correct. To speed up payments from this sender in the future, check the box ‘reuse this bank information for all future payments’.

Once you see this screen, your email transfer has been successfully accepted! We will send you another email to track your payment deposit status. Funds will usually arrive in your bank account within 2–3 business days.

Can I track my payment?
Yes. Once you are set up to receive payments, Plooto will send you a second email that contains a real time deposit tracker.
What does Plooto do with my banking information?
Your information is encrypted, stored securely, never shared with the sender, or anyone else, and used only to complete your deposit.
Do I need a Plooto account?
No, you do not need to create an account to accept payments, you are only required to provide details and authentication for the funds to be deposited.

When will my payment arrive?
Deposits typically arrive within 2-3 business days after you have successfully linked your banking details, and are subject to processing times determined by your bank.

Your payor can help you complete the deposit
If you’re having trouble locating the original deposit email or accessing your funds, the fastest way to resolve the issue is to contact the business or individual who sent you the payment. They can resend the deposit instructions or provide any details you may be missing. Since you don’t need a Plooto account to receive a payment, the sender is the best point of contact to help you complete the process.
