New Language Functionality: Send French Email Notifications

Written by James Wood | 12 Jun 2018

We launched French-language email notifications. Now you can designate whether you would like a contact to receive French or English email notifications for their payments.

It’s imperative that payment details are communicated clearly, and, for our French-language users, only having the ability to send email notifications in English was a limitation. We’re continually making enhancements to Plooto, and giving you the ability to send French email notifications is one of the many ways we are making sure that Plooto is intuitive, user-friendly, and accessible to all businesses.

The default language is set to English for both existing and new contacts.

To change email preferences to French for existing contacts:

1. Click on the “contacts” tab
2. Click on the specific contact
3. Click on “edit contact”
4. Scroll down, and under “communication preference/locale” choose “French”
5. Click “save”

To change email preferences to French for new contacts:

1. Click on the “contacts” tab
2. Click on “add contacts”
3. Click “add single contact”
4. Click “add additional contact information”
5. Scroll down, and under “communication preference/locale” choose “French”
